




Job Summary: Responsible for defining, analyzing, and managing the pricing strategy for educational courses and services to optimize revenue and profitability. Key Highlights: 1. Strategic data analysis for financial decision-making Responsible for defining, analyzing, and managing the pricing strategy for all courses, programs, and educational services. The primary objective is to optimize institutional revenue and profitability while ensuring market competitiveness, alignment with academic value proposition, and achievement of student enrollment and retention targets. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and analyze pricing practices of competing universities as well as market trends. * Conduct demand elasticity studies to understand student sensitivity to price changes. * Develop and maintain pricing models, considering operational costs, fixed and variable expenses, curriculum structure, perceived value, and desired profit margin. * Propose and calculate annual or semi-annual tuition and fee adjustments. * Define pricing structures for new courses, postgraduate programs, extension courses, and special programs. * Design, model, and monitor scholarship, discount, and incentive programs, ensuring a balance between attractiveness and institutional financial health. * Analyze the financial impact of different scholarship award scenarios. * Prepare pricing performance reports and *dashboards*, as well as key performance indicators (*KPIs*) for enrollment, retention, and attrition. * Analyze enrollment and re-enrollment sales performance, as well as profitability per course, *campus*, or program. * Provide data-driven *insights* to the Finance Directorate and Commercial/Marketing teams, supporting strategic decisions regarding the course portfolio. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Strong expertise in building complex pricing models (cost-based, value-based, competition-based) and financial forecasting. * Proficiency in data analysis tools and Business Intelligence platforms. * SQL knowledge is desirable; Python proficiency is ideal for large-scale data analysis and manipulation. * Familiarity with the educational market, understanding of sector regulations, and dynamics of student enrollment and retention. * Experience with systems managing student, financial, and academic data (ERP/CRM). **Additional Information** * Ability to examine data, identify patterns and trends, and draw logical conclusions to support pricing decisions. * Skill in presenting complex results clearly and objectively to non-financial audiences. * Focus on financial metrics and student enrollment targets. * Ability to collaborate effectively across university departments including Finance, Academics, Marketing, and Commercial. * Willingness to explore new pricing methodologies and rapidly adapt to changes in the competitive and regulatory landscape.
