As a **Mid\-Level SDET**, your mission will be to build an end-to-end (E2E) validation framework/platform for *"glass\-to\-glass"* experiences, integrating mobile, cloud, APIs, and automotive simulators. We seek a professional who combines software development skills with a focus on Quality Assurance (QA). Rather than merely manually testing systems, you will design and implement automated systems and code to validate the complete communication flow among apps, backend/cloud, and automotive simulators. Let’s go! ### **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** * **Development and Automation:** Implement and evolve E2E automated tests and full workflows involving mobile applications, APIs, cloud services, and automotive simulators. * **Framework Creation:** Contribute to building *"glass\-to\-glass"* validation frameworks and tools that other testers and developers will use to run tests more efficiently. * **Continuous Integration (CI/CD):** Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to automatically execute tests on every new change, supporting *quality gates* and pipeline initiatives. * **Proactive Engagement and Collaboration:** Participate in *code reviews*, identifying technical risks and integration issues before they impact the final product. Collaborate closely with Platform, Backend, Cloud, and DevOps teams. * **Quality and Improvement:** Contribute technical improvements related to automation, execution stability, observability, and test coverage, while sharing knowledge with the team. ### **What We Require (Requirements and Skills)** * **Software Development and QA Experience:** Proven experience in software development with a focus on quality assurance, and ability to write code to automate repetitive interface, API, and service tests. * **Programming Languages:** Strong programming logic and experience with **Python, Java, or Javascript/Typescript**. * **Automation Frameworks:** Ability to work with modern frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, Pytest, Robot, Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit. * **Testing Methodologies:** Designing test cases/scenarios, cross-platform testing, test data management, mocking and stubbing. Experience with data-driven, functional, exploratory, regression, integration, E2E, and real-device (Android/iOS) and emulator testing. * **Cloud Computing:** Knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** (Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Logging, IAM). * **Distributed Systems and DevOps:** Experience integrating distributed systems, validating REST APIs and events, and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker, Tekton). * **Tools and Processes:** Experience with test/evidence management tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Xray) and Agile methodologies. * **Language:** **Advanced English** for daily communication. ### **Nice-to-Have Qualifications** * Experience with performance and security testing in cloud environments. * Experience with automotive simulators or telematics. * Knowledge of messaging, event-driven architectures, or distributed systems. * Experience with IoT and connected-systems testing. * QA-related certifications. * Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to QA.
