Job Summary: Filtration Operator III responsible for controlling the dewatering process of concentrate, ensuring the specified moisture content with safety and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Filtration Process Operation** * Operate filter presses according to established operating procedures. * Control filtration cycle stages: filling, pressing, drainage, air blow, and discharge. * Monitor operational variables (pressure, cycle time, flow rate, cake condition). * Adjust parameters to ensure **maximum dewatering efficiency**. * Identify and correct operational deviations during the process. **Product Moisture Control** * Ensure the concentrate meets the **specified moisture content**. * Visually and operationally assess cake quality (formation, consistency, discharge). * Adjust cycle time, pressure, and operational sequence to optimize moisture content. * Report quality deviations and collaborate with supervision on corrective actions. **Sampling and Quality Control** * Perform **representative sampling**, following established procedures. * Identify, store, and forward samples to the laboratory. * Accurately complete operational and quality records. * Support control of process variability. **Filter Cloth Cleaning and Washing** * Perform **filter cloth washing**, either on-site or per defined routine. * Monitor cloth condition (clogging, wear, tears). * Ensure filtration efficiency through proper maintenance of filter elements. **Filter Cloth and Component Replacement** * Perform **filter cloth replacement**, as needed or per maintenance schedule. * Support replacement of plates, seals, and other basic components. * Ensure correct assembly to prevent leaks and loss of efficiency. **Minor Interventions and Autonomous Maintenance** * Conduct routine equipment inspections (leaks, noises, integrity). * Perform minor maintenance tasks (tightening, cleaning, unclogging). * Support the maintenance team during scheduled interventions. * Record anomalies and submit maintenance requests when necessary. **Safety, Organization, and Environment** * Strictly comply with **occupational safety regulations**. * Correctly use PPE and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures where applicable. * Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S). * Prevent incidents and report unsafe conditions. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Technical training in mining, metallurgy, chemistry, or related fields is desirable. * Experience operating **filter presses** or dewatering equipment. * Basic knowledge of mineral processing. * Willingness to reside in Nova Xavantina/MT. **Additional Information** * Competitive salary * Profit-sharing plan (PLR) * Private pension plan * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * On-site meals (at operational units) * Meal vouchers (at offices) * Food allowance * Transportation assistance * Quality-of-life program * Gympass – Wellhub * Extended maternity and paternity leave (Corporate Citizenship certified employer) * Club membership benefits — may vary by location * Eyeglass purchase assistance for family members #### **We are ERO, one of Brazil’s leading copper and gold producers.** **We are part of a global group headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in Brazil.
