Job Summary: The Access Controller / Weighbridge Operator is responsible for managing the entry and exit of people, vehicles, and goods, as well as operating the highway weighbridge, in compliance with established standards and procedures. Accident prevention and safety guidance We are seeking an Access Controller / Weighbridge Operator to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, reporting to the LATAM Corporate Security Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out access control activities for people, goods, and cargo vehicles—verifying supporting documentation, invoices, and other relevant documents—and recording required data in designated systems, in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures. Carry out access control for people (visitors, service providers, and employees), verifying supporting documentation, registering information in a designated system, and ensuring appropriate access permissions in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures. Carry out access control for cargo vehicles, verifying supporting documentation, registering information in a designated system, and ensuring appropriate access permissions in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures. Operate the highway weighbridge, ensuring weighing upon entry and exit of cargo vehicles, in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures. Analyze and record, in a designated system, the weight values indicated by the highway weighbridge and those stated in accompanying cargo documents, ensuring release of cargo vehicles in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures. Provide guidance, whenever necessary or requested, to visitors, service providers, and employees regarding rules and procedures for vehicle movement and maneuvering within the facility. Prepare and distribute, whenever necessary or requested, reports pertinent to movements and records associated with the Social Entrance and Cargo Entrances. Organize, digitize, and archive, whenever necessary, documents related to activities under your responsibility. Implement necessary measures for accident prevention and mitigation, including ensuring emergency services’ access during crisis situations (e.g., fires) or emergency drills and evacuation exercises. Record, in a designated system, incidents related to non-compliance with pre-established standards and procedures, including discrepancies in cargo weight. Who Are We Looking For?
