If this resonates with you, check out our opportunity and join us as an \#Edger! **\#VemPraEdgeUOL** At **Edge UOL**, everyone is welcome—**regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion, disability, etc.** What matters most is your passion for challenges, ability to work well in teams, alignment with our culture and mission to innovate and create the best technology solutions—empowering our customers' businesses and improving people's lives. **Responsibilities and Duties*** Monitor servers, services, and applications continuously using Zabbix, tracking alerts related to CPU, memory, disk, network, and unavailability. * Handle service requests of low, medium, high, and critical complexity related to operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments. * Perform operational tasks in Windows Server environments, including resource, user, permission, service, log, and update management. * Perform operational tasks in Linux/Unix environments, executing basic commands, performing initial resource consumption analysis, and verifying service status. * Conduct initial troubleshooting for incidents such as stopped services, slow environments, access failures, and excessive resource consumption. * Support virtualized environment administration by creating, modifying, and restarting virtual machines on VMware or Hyper\-V. * Execute operational routines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud), including: * Creation and basic management of instances. * Access control, user, and permission management. * Restarting resources. * Initial failure analysis. * Support infrastructure activities by verifying network connectivity and services such as DNS and TCP/IP. * Execute operational routines, including: * Applying patches and updates. * Performing basic backup and restore procedures. * Inventorying servers and resources. * Installing and validating monitoring agents and operational tools. * Document all performed activities, following defined procedures, operational standards, and best practices. * Escalate incidents when necessary, ensuring proper initial analysis and accurate information logging. **Requirements and Qualifications*** Completed technical education in IT or currently pursuing a higher education degree in Information Technology, Networks, Systems, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration, including CPU, memory, disk, user, service, and permission management. * Basic knowledge of Linux, including command execution, directory navigation, simple management, and resource analysis. * Basic understanding of monitoring tools, preferably Zabbix. * Ability to interpret alerts related to CPU, memory, disk, unavailability, and services. * Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, and connectivity. * Familiarity with virtualization using VMware or Hyper\-V. * Basic understanding of Active Directory, including users, groups, and permissions. * Awareness of cloud environments (IaaS) operation. * Initial experience, internship, or prior involvement in infrastructure, technical support, NOC, or IT operations. * Ability to follow operational procedures and collaborate effectively in teams. **Desirable** ------------- * Exposure to or knowledge of Unix environments. * Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud. * Basic knowledge of backup and restore procedures. * Familiarity with monitoring and operational automation tools. **Additional Information*** Remote work model. * 12x36 night shift schedule, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM\. * Work in an infrastructure operations environment, with continuous technical team support and opportunities for professional development across various technologies.
