We have an opening for you to become an **SSD Brasil - IT Engineer Spec IV (Cloud)** **In this role, you will:** • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, performance, and cost management. • Microservices Management: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS, including creation and management of container clusters, task definitions, and service orchestration for optimal performance and reliability. • Automation and Scripting: Implement automation solutions using AWS Systems Manager and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to optimize operational tasks and improve efficiency. • Networking and Security: Configure and manage network components, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups. Ensure application of security best practices, including IAM role and policy management. • Monitoring and Maintenance: Use Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Dynatrace to monitor application performance, configure alarms, and generate logs. Analyze metrics to ensure application reliability and availability. • Collaboration and CI/CD: Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable application delivery. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Report performance metrics and provide improvement recommendations. **Essential Requirements:** Fundamental AWS Knowledge: * Core AWS Services: Familiarity with EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Lambda. * AWS Architecture: Principles of architecture and design patterns for scalable and secure solutions. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): * IaC Tools: AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CLI; ability to write and maintain IaC templates. Configuration Management and Automation: * AWS Systems Manager: Task automation, configuration management, and instance administration. * Automation Scripts: Bash, Python, or PowerShell for administrative and configuration tasks. * Configuration management systems: Ansible or similar. Networking and Security: * Networking Fundamentals: Subnets, IP addressing, routing, gateways, VPC and subnet configuration. * AWS Security: Identity and Access Management (IAM), policies, roles, and groups. Microservices Deployment and Operations using Amazon ECS: * Amazon ECS: Creation and management of container clusters, task and service definitions. * Docker Integration: Creation and management of Docker images, use of Amazon ECR. * Container Orchestration: Scalability, updates, resilience, and failure recovery. Monitoring and Maintenance: * AWS CloudWatch: Resource monitoring, alarms, and logs. * AWS CloudTrail: Activity auditing and compliance. * Monitoring frameworks: Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, or similar. Database Management: * RDS and DynamoDB: Relational and NoSQL databases on AWS. * Backup and Recovery: Strategies for cloud-based databases. Implementation and Operations: * SDLC: Principles of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD). * Change and Version Management: Version control with Git for IaC code. * Three-tier architectures: Web (Apache), application engine (Tomcat/Spring), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, ORACLE, NoSQL). Problem Solving and Support: * Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identification and resolution of infrastructure issues. * Documentation: Recording of configurations, processes, and changes. Best Practices and Architectural Standards: * Resilience Patterns: High availability, disaster recovery, scalability. * Cost Optimization: Practices to reduce AWS costs.
