Conduct Threat Hunting and support continuous improvement of controls **Date:** March 27, 2026 **Location:** São Paulo, São Paulo **Company:** B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão **About the Position** **Position:** Level 2 Incident Response Analyst / Automation **Location:** São Paulo/SP **Publication Date:** 03/27/26 **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** * **Monitoring and Investigation (40% of time)** Act as a Level 2 analyst performing active security environment monitoring, investigating alerts, and conducting in-depth cyber incident analyses. Lead or support complex investigations, including establishing and managing crisis rooms until full risk mitigation; * **Incident Response and Automation (30% of time)** Define, enhance, and document detection, response, and incident handling procedures. Develop and maintain security automations to increase SOC operational efficiency and elevate process maturity; * **Threat Hunting and Continuous Improvement (20% of time)** Proactively search for threats across the environment, identifying suspicious behaviors and emerging vulnerabilities. Support Purple Team exercises and continuous improvement initiatives for defensive controls; * **Team Development and Operational Support (10% of time)** Mentor junior analysts, fostering technical development and dissemination of best practices. Also serve on on-call/on-duty shifts with flexibility according to operational needs. **Department Responsibilities** B3’s Cyber Defense team is responsible for protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the exchange’s data and systems.
