Dynamic environment with opportunities and a focus on innovation We seek an Information Security Specialist (Blue Team) with technical and strategic expertise, responsible for strengthening the organization's cyber defenses. This professional will directly identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, while proposing and implementing continuous improvements to mitigate risks. They will play a critical role in protecting the company's assets, ensuring business continuity, and advancing security practices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Analyze cyberattacks, identifying root causes and developing effective defense strategies; * Manage and respond to security incidents, leading containment, eradication, and recovery actions; * Monitor environments to identify and mitigate threats in real time; * Collaborate with technology teams to integrate security into company processes and systems; * Serve as a technical reference in cybersecurity, supporting decision-making and implementation of new solutions; * Develop and disseminate security best practices, delivering training and team capacity-building; * Implement, administer, and optimize security tools such as Firewalls, EDR, VPN, IDS/IPS, among others; * Conduct risk analysis, threat modeling, and implement continuous improvements based on TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures); * Track trends, emerging threats, and developments in the information security landscape. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields; * Practical experience in responding to cybersecurity incidents; * Solid knowledge of security solutions such as Firewall, EDR, NAC, WAF, SD\-WAN, Proxies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, cloud networks, and containerized environments; * Experience with advanced troubleshooting of security devices and solutions; * Knowledge of process automation and SOAR tools (e.g., Ansible, Python); * Knowledge of risk management, data lifecycle, and identity management; * Advanced English proficiency; **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security; * Security certifications such as Security\+, CRISC, SSCP, CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, or CND; * Networking certifications such as CCNA or Network\+; * Experience administering Linux and Windows servers; * Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT\&CK, and ISO 27001\. **Additional Information** At Daycoval, we understand that caring for our employees is essential to fostering a healthy and productive work environment.
