If you also want to join this journey with us, apply now and become part of the team! **So, do you want to build your future with us?** The **Fraud Prevention** team at Appmax is responsible for validating the authenticity of purchases made through our platform, collecting, evaluating, and verifying customer-provided data to minimize financial losses and improve approval rates for our partners. Your **mission** will be to identify, investigate, and analyze orders suspected of fraud—especially re-analyzing high-average-ticket orders for new team members—and contact customers by phone to confirm data. For this challenge, we seek a critical, analytical individual with knowledge of bureaus and anti-fraud tools, and strong motivation to contribute to Appmax. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Monitoring transactions, risk indicators, and merchant/partner purchasing behavior to identify deviations from normal patterns and potential fraud. * Conducting anti-fraud analyses of withdrawal requests, evaluating transaction history, partner profile, and adherence to internal policies. * Analyzing and tracking metrics such as chargeback rate, approval rate, and suspicious attempts—always prioritizing analysis SLA compliance. * Proactively mitigating financial and operational risks by proposing adjustments to anti-fraud routing, rules, and policies. * Performing investigative analyses in cases of anomalies, fraud spikes, or deteriorating metrics, supporting decisions regarding blocking, restriction, or strategic realignment. * Supporting onboarding processes for new partners/merchants by assessing risk profiles and adherence to internal policies. * Ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. **You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have:** * Prior experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or chargebacks—especially within e\-commerce, payment processing, or marketplace environments. * Experience monitoring partner/merchant operations and analyzing transactional behavior. * Knowledge of anti-fraud tools, rules, risk scoring, and approval/rejection workflows. * Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make indicator-driven decisions. * Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners. * Organizational skills, sense of priority, and awareness of operational and financial impact. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Practical experience with acquirers and PSPs. * Direct involvement in adjusting anti-fraud strategy, balancing conversion vs. risk. * Experience analyzing data using advanced Excel/Sheets, SQL, or BI tools. * Experience working in high-volume transactional environments requiring real-time decisions. * A critical, investigative mindset focused on continuous improvement. **At Appmax, our Maxters enjoy:** All necessary equipment and resources to work onsite, hybrid, or remotely Hybrid or remote work allowance to cover related expenses Flexfood—so you don’t need to choose between VR or VA Health and dental insurance Pet health insurance ️ ️ Wellhub Avus Starbem Pharmacy benefits Transportation voucher ❤️ Life insurance Upmaxter to support your studies An environment that fosters development and high performance, featuring monthly performance checkpoints, regular 1:1 meetings, continuous feedback practices, PDI follow-up, and much more...
