As a member of the A\&B team, the banquet apprentice will be responsible for delivering sophisticated service and ensuring guest satisfaction at the restaurant in accordance with property standards, brand requirements, and those of its certifying bodies.
**Brief description of responsibilities:**
* Maintain the highest standard of excellence in Food \& Beverage services;
* Apply appropriate techniques for handling and serving Food \& Beverage items in general;
* Conduct oneself in a friendly, professional, helpful, and courteous manner when interacting with guests, customers, and colleagues;
* Comply with all company, brand, and certifying body service standards during performance of duties;
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu specialties and general item descriptions;
* Accurately convey all customer orders to the kitchen/bar, paying close attention to and respecting individual preferences and specific details;
* Total customer bills, present them promptly, and collect full payment in accordance with the restaurant’s established financial procedures;
* Prioritize organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of one’s workstation and work materials;
* Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and loss prevention procedures mandated by the employer and its certifying bodies;
* Participate in departmental trainings and meetings as requested;
* Perform other duties related to the role as assigned.
