Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing preparation, welding, cutting, and finishing tasks, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring workplace safety and organization. Key Highlights: 1. Perform welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, flat) 2. Interpret technical drawings and welding specifications 3. Ensure workplace safety and organization * **Preparation:** Inspect parts, bevel edges, wire-brush, preheat (using a torch), and apply oil/grease removers. * **Welding:** Operate equipment, adjust parameters, control interpass temperature, and perform welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, flat). * **Cutting and Finishing:** Perform plasma or oxyacetylene cutting and remove excess material using grinders or gouging. * **Technical Reading:** Interpret technical drawings, layouts, and welding specifications (WPS). * **Safety and Organization:** Organize the workplace, ensure proper use of PPE, and maintain cleanliness.
