GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The main mission of this position is to monitor dependencies, public and private areas in order to prevent, control, and combat irregularities. Safeguard the security of people, property, and compliance with laws and regulations. Receive and control the movement of people in open and restricted access areas. Inspect people, cargo, and property, escort people and goods. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES: Report events that occurred during the surveillance period to immediate supervision. Control the movement and presence of people, as a security measure, vehicles and material assets, proceeding with identification and registration when required. Conduct surveillance of the company by patrolling and inspecting its facilities to prevent fires, thefts, unauthorized entry, and other abnormalities. Record incidents and actions taken during your shift, writing in the incident log to inform your immediate supervisor and allow decision-making to correct identified irregularities. Conduct inspections and rounds throughout the service post facilities, preventing situations that could endanger the integrity of the building, equipment, and the safety of staff and users. Occasionally, if requested, perform basic cleaning of weapons used at the service post.
