Job Summary: The Technical Assistant provides technical and operational support, collaborating in the efficient execution of remediation projects, data collection, equipment maintenance, and field and administrative tasks. Preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment The Technical Assistant is responsible for providing support in technical and operational activities, collaborating with the technical team to ensure the efficient execution of remediation projects. This professional works across various areas, assisting in data and sample collection, equipment maintenance, and the performance of field and administrative tasks. Main Responsibilities: * Assist in loading, unloading, handling, and storage of materials and equipment; * Perform field tasks using manual and mechanical techniques and equipment, under the guidance of the Operational Coordinator, Operational Technician, Environmental Technician, or immediate supervisor; * Support the preparation and setup of experiments and technical installations; * Perform minor and medium repairs on equipment in use; * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and tools; * Comply with the Quality Management System guidelines; * Ensure proper use and integrity of equipment; * Ensure all necessary resources are available and in good working condition; * Comply with and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements; * Participate in training sessions and awareness lectures relevant to their activities; * Respond to internal and external audit interviews and to project managers, coordinators, managers, and directors; * Follow instructions from the Environmental Technician and/or Project Manager when performing tasks; * Maintain, clean, preserve, secure, and control all materials, instruments, equipment, and their workplace; * Enter field-collected data into Excel spreadsheets; MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Completed technical education in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering; * Valid driver's license, Category B; * Hybrid profile suitable for predominantly field-based work and limited administrative tasks. * Reside in Rio Claro ADDITIONAL ASSETS: * Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and standards; * Basic knowledge of contaminated sites management;
