Job Summary: Ferrovia Transnordestina Logística is seeking a Surveyor to perform field activities and provide technical support to engineering, permanent way, and maintenance areas, ensuring precision and safety in railway infrastructure projects. Key Highlights: 1. Perform field activities and provide technical support to engineering departments. 2. Conduct topographic and geodetic surveys using various instruments. 3. Contribute to maintenance, expansion, and geometric correction projects. The **Ferrovia Transnordestina Logística (FTL)**, a company of the CSN Group, operates one of the most important railway networks in Northeastern Brazil, connecting the ports of Itaqui (São Luís/MA), Pecém (São Gonçalo do Amarante/CE), and Mucuripe (Fortaleza/CE). With approximately 1,237 km of railway line, FTL plays a strategic role in regional and logistics development. We are seeking a **Surveyor** to perform field activities and provide technical support to engineering, permanent way, and maintenance departments. **Job Responsibilities** * Conduct topographic and geodetic surveys using total stations, GPS, levels, and other instruments; * Carry out measurements and analyses of railway track geometry to support studies and projects; * Interpret plans, sketches, maps, and technical drawings; * Assist in preparing reports, maps, models, and technical records; * Support alignment, leveling, and geometric control activities for the permanent way; * Process topographic data and ensure information accuracy; * Contribute to maintenance, expansion, and geometric correction projects; * Comply with the company’s safety regulations and operational standards. **Requirements** * Completed high school education; * Technical degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Land Surveying, or related fields; * Experience operating surveying equipment (RTK GPS, total stations, automatic levels, etc.); * Proficiency in surveying software and interpretation of technical drawings; * **Experience in earthworks**, including measurements, slope control, volumetric calculations, and monitoring of cuts and fills; * Availability for external assignments and travel across the railway network; * Organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and safety-focused. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the railway, industrial, or heavy infrastructure construction sectors; * Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS, or modeling software; * Experience with drone-based mapping (UAS/RPAS); * Prior involvement in linear infrastructure projects (railways, highways, pipelines, etc.). **Benefits** * **Meal Allowance**: **R$ 1090,26** * **TotalPass** * **Gympass** * **Hapvida Health Plan – 100% covered by the company for you and your dependents, effective from your date of hire.** * **Medical assistance** * **Life insurance** * **Transportation allowance** * **Childcare assistance** * **School kit** **Why Work at Transnordestina?** At FTL, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a project essential for the development of Northeastern Brazil, directly supporting the country’s railway infrastructure.
