The professional will be responsible for welding, cutting, and assembly tasks, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and facilities. **Responsibilities** * Perform welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required by the department. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on factory equipment and metal structures. * Perform cutting, fitting, and assembly of parts using appropriate tools. * Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. * Inspect weld quality and conduct strength tests. * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Support other maintenance departments when necessary. **Requirements** * Proven experience as a welder (preferably in an industrial environment). * Knowledge of MIG/MAG, TIG, and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics is a plus. * Completed high school education; welding certification is considered an advantage. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Desired Competencies** * Organization and attention to detail. * Proactivity and ability to work in a team. * Commitment to safety and quality. * Agility in solving technical problems.
