SP, SP Senior Software Developer – Generative AI Agents (Maitha Tech) About the role: You will be responsible for developing and evolving Maitha's application, driving the product's Artificial Intelligence strategy. Your focus will be on accelerating delivery, creating intelligent experiences, and structuring generative AI agents that connect to data, APIs, and real-world services—transforming the app into a living organism capable of learning, personalizing, and automating end-to-end actions. This is a highly collaborative position with direct business impact and significant innovation potential. Responsibilities: ✔ Accelerate development and delivery of new application features, ensuring quality and scalability. ✔ Work on the backlog, prioritizing resolution of key customer pain points. ✔ Technically lead experimentation, design, and implementation of AI features in the app, including an agent-based generative AI Concierge. ✔ Ensure a scalable and sustainable architecture for future growth (services and retail), with agents integrated into APIs and enterprise data. ✔ Actively participate in product discussions with leadership, CX/UX, and user groups, translating feedback into smart solutions. ✔ Design, develop, and evolve generative AI agents (concierge, copilots, conversational automations). ✔ Integrate agents with internal and external APIs, databases, and services to execute end-to-end tasks. ✔ Define and maintain prompts, instructions, usage policies, and LLM parameters. ✔ Collaborate with Product, CX/UX, and Data teams to create useful and relevant conversational experiences. ✔ Monitor agents in production (logs, metrics, costs, errors) and drive continuous improvement cycles. Requirements: ✔ Solid experience in backend or full-stack development, with proficiency in modern languages (primarily TypeScript/Node.js). ✔ Practical experience building at least one generative AI agent (POC, pilot, or internal solution) using ADK, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar tools. ✔ Familiarity with using LLMs via APIs (parameters, context, tokens). ✔ Knowledge of REST API integrations (authentication, pagination, error handling). ✔ Understanding of RAG / vector search or connecting LLMs to knowledge bases. ✔ Basic understanding of tools/function calling and simple agent orchestration. ✔ Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Google Cloud) for deployment, databases, and observability. ✔ Strong communication skills, multidisciplinary collaboration, and product/business-oriented mindset. ✔ Having deployed at least one AI agent in practice, even if in a pilot. Differentiators: ➕ Experience with Google Cloud's AI ecosystem (Vertex AI, Search, AI Studio, ADK). ➕ Knowledge in agent observability and evaluation (metrics, latency, cost, tracing, dashboards). ➕ Experience in e-commerce, retail, or B2C digital products, especially mobile. ➕ Knowledge of AI security and governance (sensitive data, prompt injection, retention policies). ➕ Experience with event-driven architectures and integration across multiple services.
