**Job Description** --------------------- Work with a company in the Radio and TV sector, joining a team responsible for developing, evolving, and maintaining high-business-impact Android applications. The professional will work on large-scale projects, contributing to building robust, performant, and user-centric digital experiences. We seek a candidate with solid native Android development experience, advanced analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset—serving as a technical reference for the team, driving solution evolution, promoting best practices, and mentoring developers. This position requires architectural vision, commitment to software quality, focus on performance, scalability, and continuous improvement of products and development processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- * Develop and evolve native Android applications using software engineering best practices; * Analyze, maintain, and evolve application architecture, proposing improvements and refactorings when necessary; * Actively participate in technical and architectural decisions for projects; * Write clean, reusable, scalable code aligned with team-established standards; * Conduct code reviews and ensure technical quality of deliverables; * Support implementation of solutions focused on performance, security, scalability, and observability; * Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs; * Contribute to evolving development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes; * Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying memory, processing, and resource consumption bottlenecks; * Participate in defining and implementing automated testing and quality strategies; * Share knowledge with the team through mentoring, pair programming, and dissemination of best practices; * Support onboarding of new professionals and contribute to the team’s technical growth; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Product, UX/UI, QA, and other departments involved in the development lifecycle. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ ### **Technical Knowledge** * Solid experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Java; * Advanced knowledge of Android SDK components and features; * Experience with MVVM architecture and other mobile application architectural patterns; * Knowledge of Clean Architecture, Repository Pattern, and Use Cases; * Experience with Android Architecture Components; * Advanced expertise in dependency management using Gradle and Maven; * Experience with reactive programming using RxJava, LiveData, and Flow; * Mastery of the Android application lifecycle; * Experience consuming and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs; * Advanced knowledge of version control using Git; * Experience with Code Review processes; * Knowledge of local databases using SQLite; * Experience with data caching and persistence strategies; * Knowledge of unit, instrumented, automated tests, and TDD practices; * Experience with CI/CD tools and processes; * Knowledge of Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, and observability tools; * Experience building performant and scalable UIs; * Knowledge of Custom Views and various ViewGroups; * Knowledge of performance optimization, memory management, and resource consumption; * Experience monitoring and analyzing performance using Android Profiler, Traceview, and similar tools; * Advanced knowledge of mobile application security, including encryption, biometric authentication, digital certificates, and JWT; * Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban; * Knowledge of Design Patterns and software development best practices. ### **Nice-to-Have** * Experience with Jetpack Compose; * Experience automating pipelines and continuous delivery workflows; * Knowledge of mobile application accessibility; * Experience with BDD and TDD; * Experience leading technical projects and initiatives; * Active participation in the Android community; * Technical content creation—articles, talks, or presentations; * Contributions to Open Source projects. **Behavioral Competencies** -------------------------------- * Clear and assertive communication; * Proactivity and ownership mindset; * Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and across disciplines; * Mentoring and developer development capability; * Analytical profile with problem-solving orientation; * Ability to influence technical decisions and promote best practices; * Product-oriented mindset and focus on user experience; * Adaptability to dynamic, highly complex environments; * Commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous learning. **Desirable Requirements** ------------------------- * 5–8+ years of Android development experience; * Experience with large-scale, high-availability projects; * Experience in technical leadership, onboarding, and mentoring developers; * Frequent interaction with Product, UX/UI, QA, and other technology teams; * Experience defining and evolving modern mobile architectures.
