Focus on product launches and industrialization **Description:** ---------------- **Activities / Responsibilities:** * Develop and update project expense forecasts (Budget and Forecasts), ensuring financial control and alignment with planning. * Ensure execution of the launch schedule together with the Program Manager, with focus on industrial management (new processes, equipment, and implementations). * Ensure expenditure and investment execution per approvals, avoiding cost and scope deviations. * Control scope changes, ensuring validation and mitigation of impacts on cost, schedule, and quality. * Lead follow-up meetings with the factory's cross-functional team (Launch Leader), defining responsibilities, deadlines, and action plans. * Deliver periodic presentations on project progress within operations. * Ensure project procurement flow (requisitions and purchase orders), securing timely acquisition of equipment, installations, and tooling. * Ensure technical specifications are prepared by requesters within the timeline required for procurement. * Define, together with Industrial Engineering, dates and activities for process validation without impacting the project schedule. * Monitor prototype and pilot part production, ensuring compliance with project requirements. * Monitor factory installations and layout adjustments per defined scope. * Ensure engineering changes do not impact product quality and safety. * Ensure appropriate PCP and Operations planning for end-of-series and ramp-up of new lines, achieving planned volumes. * Monitor and report production ramp-up curve (learning curve), identifying deviations and initiating necessary corrections. * Support the Launch Manager in client communications when required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. * Advanced English proficiency. * Experience in automotive industry companies. * Experience in industrial project management and/or product launches. * Experience in industrial production processes. * Experience in Budget and Forecast control and project cost management. * Experience in schedule, scope, and change management. * Experience interfacing with cross-functional areas (Engineering, Production, PCP, Procurement, and Quality). * Experience with production ramp-up, prototypes, pilots, and industrialization processes.
