Description
You will be fully responsible for managing the product and category lifecycle under your supervision, from conception and development through to market launch and performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all stages of the product and category portfolio lifecycle.
* Serving as the liaison between commercial, product development, research & development, and point-of-sale teams.
* Defining the strategic market positioning of products, including pricing, shelf placement, and value proposition relative to competitors.
* Conducting competitive analyses, benchmarking, and comparative studies between proprietary and competing products.
* Understanding, representing, and anticipating consumer needs by analyzing purchasing behavior and market trends.
* Defining the product vision, portfolio priorities, and MVPs (Minimum Viable Products).
* Developing business cases for new product launches and leading the Go-To-Market (GTM) process.
* Planning, developing, and executing the project calendar, product launches, and brand activations.
* Monitoring and reporting industry and category best practices.
* Identifying opportunities to improve sales, margin, and portfolio profitability.
* Developing and communicating channel-specific initiatives in collaboration with the sales team to drive accelerated growth.
* Being accountable for the category P&L and budget management.
* Using KPIs, data, and analytics to support decision-making.
* Traveling to international trade fairs and supplier visits—including to China—for new product development.
* Ensuring products meet the company’s strategic objectives and customer requirements.
* Complying with technical, quality, safety, health, hygiene, and environmental protection standards.
* Supervising workplace organization, cleanliness, and conditions.
* Participating in the preparation and updating of quality management system documents related to your area.
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
* Proven experience in product or category management.
* Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Advanced or fluent English.
* Full availability for domestic and international travel.
**Desirable Requirements**
* Postgraduate degree or MBA in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related areas.
* In-depth knowledge of markets, customers, and sales channels.
* Experience with Totvs ERP.
