We're addressing the global challenges of ending plastic waste, taking climate action, and supporting a thriving society, while generating value for our customers, investors, and society. **Basic Function** ------------------ Provide technical support for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, internal standards, corporate procedures, and operational controls defined in the Risk Management Plan (PGR), Operational Excellence System, and ISO 14001, thereby contributing to the prevention of accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental impacts. **Roles \& Responsibilities** ----------------------------- * Monitor and track occupational or environmental incidents, supporting the investigation process, information gathering, root cause analysis, and follow-up on defined corrective actions; * Identify hazards and assess risks, participating in activities such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Inventory, and verifying implementation of defined controls; * Guide LYB employees and contractors on Hygiene, Occupational Safety, and Environmental regulations and procedures, monitoring and verifying compliance during service execution; * Organize, control, and verify HSE documentation required for service providers, ensuring compliance with requirements before and during service delivery; * Schedule and monitor safety-related services, including inspections, fire extinguisher replacement and maintenance, mandatory training, and related services; * Support occupational health processes, including arranging, tracking, and monitoring periodic medical examinations for site employees, per guidelines issued by the responsible department; * Analyze and support monitoring of environmental conditions, as well as identification of site-related environmental aspects and impacts, and evaluate existing operational controls; * Support operational waste control, including verification of segregation, identification, packaging, temporary storage, and adherence to site environmental procedures; * Support environmental licensing processes by providing requested technical information, records, and evidence; * Collect, record, and support consolidation of HSE performance indicators, entering data into spreadsheets and/or corporate systems, and supporting preparation of presentations; * Support and facilitate internal and external HSE audits and inspections by providing relevant records, evidence, and technical information related to operational activities; * Perform administrative support tasks for HSE, such as initiating purchase orders, obtaining quotations, and managing safety supplies; * Prepare and deliver regulatory training, HSE orientation for new LYB employees and contractors, per content defined by the department; * Record and monitor safety occurrences, deviations, incidents, and observations in the site’s adopted corporate systems or tools; * Provide technical support to operational, maintenance, logistics departments, and contracted companies to clarify doubts and guide daily HSE requirements. **Min. Qualifications** ----------------------- * Technical degree in Occupational Safety; * Experience in the field and knowledge of HSE procedures; * Familiarity with Brazilian occupational health and safety (SST) and environmental legislation. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Proficiency in computer applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power BI); * Internal Auditor training for ISO 14001; * Industrial environment experience, participation in Management of Change (MOC) planning, and familiarity with the Operational Excellence Program; * Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems\.
