




Conduct occupational safety inspections, verifying the physical conditions of the workplace, machinery, and equipment, and observing working conditions to identify accident factors and risks. Investigate accidents and deviations, identify root causes, and propose solutions. Deliver lectures and training on prevention of occupational and environmental hazards and emergency procedures. Train the emergency response team in handling emergencies, disasters, and other incidents. Monitor the receipt, storage, transportation, handling, and dispatch of toxic and flammable substances. Monitor construction projects, maintenance activities, and operations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and procedures. Perform activities in accordance with occupational safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct visits and inspect the company’s operational areas to detect, record, and correct unsafe conditions in the workplace, as well as reorient and supervise employees regarding compliance with safety standards, correct procedures, and appropriate use of tools, machinery, and equipment; * Develop educational initiatives in occupational health and safety to raise employee awareness; * Guide and support, when necessary, accident investigations, prioritizing identification of root causes, as well as developing action plans and corrective or preventive measures; * Monitor general maintenance activities, ensuring safety in the work environment and proper behavior during execution of appropriate procedures, as well as installation/implementation of new processes—seeking information or providing guidance on their operation to prevent accidents; * Inspect, register, and distribute fire extinguishers; monitor the emergency system (hydrants and alarms) and expiration dates of extinguisher charges; send extinguishers for external inspection; and ensure they remain in perfect working condition; * Maintain up-to-date occupational safety documentation to comply with applicable standards and legislation; * Stay current with legislation governing occupational safety standards and procedures, as well as emerging best practices; * Prepare the PPP (Previdenciary Occupational Profile), collecting employees’ personal data and identifying occupational hazards to which they are exposed, then forwarding the document to the respective employee; * Conduct onboarding for new employees, informing them about safety standards and providing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and uniforms; * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identifying causes and participating in expert assessments; propose corrective actions concerning the work environment, machine/tool placement and usage, and procedures; report and document accident-related information for statistical control and targeted or collective corrective and preventive actions; * Update the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PPRA) in compliance with Regulatory Standards, aiming to anticipate and control environmental risks present in the company; * Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor; * Support planning and implementation of periodic employee training, including onboarding for new employees and third-party personnel, focusing on occupational safety to comply with regulatory standards and promote employee awareness and guidance; * Advise responsible departments on compliance with occupational safety regulatory standards across the entire company, and monitor internal and external signage systems; * Conduct safety inspections at the factory and field sites, assessing potential unsafe conditions and acts, notifying responsible departments or involved employees, and obtaining signatures to minimize accident risks and enhance employee awareness and engagement; * Conduct periodic inspections of the fire suppression system—including hydrant and fire extinguisher systems—and arrange for recharging when required; also conduct theoretical and practical refresher training for the fire brigade; * Monitor inspections conducted by external agencies related to occupational safety, clarify doubts or queries, and submit required documents to competent authorities (e.g., DRT, labor unions); * Conduct periodic safety inspections in tank farm areas, checking for leaks and verifying installations; * Drive the ambulance in emergency response situations and assist in administering first aid and managing emergency scenarios; * Perform job-related tasks in strict adherence to all occupational safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures established by the organization, consistently using all mandatory PPE required for job and departmental activities; and promptly inform the immediate supervisor of any activity posing a risk to personal health or that of coworkers; * Carry out duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focused on organizational goals while maintaining confidentiality and protecting company information; * Uphold the 5S program discipline, promoting safe work through organization, standardization, and cleanliness of the workplace; * Safeguard company assets under one’s responsibility and immediately report any issues or damages detected to the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Technical course or equivalent qualification; Relevant experience in the field. **Additional Information** Benefits: Meal allowance; Health insurance (Unimed); Dental plan; Transportation allowance; Gympass; On-site meals.
