We are looking for a **Mechanic** to join our **Maintenance** team at the **Pecém** terminal. If you want to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and safe environment, this is the ideal opportunity! You will support tire-related activities on port equipment, contributing to operational efficiency and ensuring everyone’s safety. Join a team that keeps our equipment in perfect condition and helps move the global economy! **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on port equipment, ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance with manufacturers’ manuals. * Carry out disassembly, replacement, adjustment, and reassembly of mechanical and hydraulic components according to maintenance plans and procedures. * Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, re-tightening, filter replacements, system cleaning, and air-conditioning maintenance on equipment. * Collaborate with senior technicians, team leaders, and participate in shift meetings for operational alignment. * Handle tools, spare parts, and assets under your responsibility correctly, ensuring preservation, traceability, and proper return. * Operate authorized vehicles within the terminal to perform maintenance activities, complete checklists, and maintain vehicles in good working condition. * Prepare technical reports and complete Work Orders, ensuring accurate recording, history tracking, and analysis of maintenance interventions. * Participate in shift meetings and support continuous improvement of maintenance activities. **What talent are we seeking?** * **Education:** Completed high school. * **Experience:** Experience supporting maintenance of industrial or port equipment, performing basic maintenance tasks while adhering to safety procedures. * **Driver’s License:** Category B. * **Mandatory Courses:** NR35 and basic mechanical maintenance training. * **Lean Mindset:** We seek someone with a strong continuous improvement mindset — naturally curious, committed to solving root causes, and motivated to make things better every day. **Behavioral Competencies:** * **Responsibility and Safety Orientation:** Strictly complies with safety, environmental, and operational standards, procedures, and best practices. * **Teamwork:** Collaborates effectively with colleagues and technicians, maintaining clear communication and focusing on collective results. * **Organization and Carefulness:** Keeps the workplace, tools, and equipment orderly and in good working condition. * **Proactivity and Attention to Detail:** Demonstrates initiative in tasks and executes activities with precision and technical quality.
