Work in compliance with safety and quality standards **Position: Maintenance Mechanic** Fortex Embalagens is looking for a committed, responsible, and proactive professional to join our team as a **Maintenance Mechanic**, ensuring optimal equipment performance and contributing to production continuity and efficiency. Main Responsibilities * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial machines and equipment; * Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs; * Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and replace mechanical components; * Monitor equipment operation and propose improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime; * Carry out lubrication and periodic inspections according to the maintenance plan; * Complete maintenance records and work orders; * Comply with company safety, quality, and internal procedural standards; * Support the production team whenever necessary to ensure operational continuity. Requirements * Completed high school education; * Technical or vocational training in Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields (preferred); * Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance; * Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical transmission; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Availability to work rotating shifts when required.
