Team collaboration for efficient services **Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Summary:** The Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and ensuring all services are carried out with quality and safety. This professional must be capable of working with various types of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal operating condition. **Key Responsibilities:** **Problem Diagnosis:** Perform accurate diagnoses of mechanical vehicle problems using appropriate tools and equipment. Identify the root causes of failures and defects in engines, transmission systems, brakes, steering, and other components. **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:** Carry out preventive maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, belt replacements, and general inspections. Perform corrective maintenance by replacing defective parts and fixing faults in mechanical and electrical systems. **Testing and Inspections:** Conduct tests and inspections on vehicles after repairs to ensure issues have been resolved and vehicles are safe for use. Record maintenance information in the vehicle's service history. **Equipment Care:** Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, keeping the workplace organized and well-maintained. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with other mechanics and customer service staff to ensure services are delivered efficiently and within established deadlines. **Required Qualifications:** **Education:** Technical course in Automotive Mechanics or related fields. **Skills:** Attention to detail, ability to perform accurate diagnostics, technical knowledge, organization, and strong communication skills. **Experience:** Prior experience as an automotive mechanic is a plus.
