**Job Description** Professional to work on high-complexity projects in the Oil and Gas sector, directly contributing to innovation initiatives, technical qualification, and development of solutions applied to SURF products. A professional with an analytical profile, strong technical foundation, and ability to work multidisciplinarily in the development, evaluation, and application of metallic and polymeric materials, ensuring reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance. **Requirements** * Mechanical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering * Advanced English proficiency for technical communication and analysis; * Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector; * Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; * Prior experience in materials development; * Interest in technical and administrative activities; * Passionate about continuous improvement and technological innovation; * Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills; * Initiative to propose process improvements and mitigation of technical risks; * Aptitude and interest in teamwork and multidisciplinary environments; * Analytical, critical, and solution-oriented profile; * **Desirable** * Knowledge and experience with technical standards and specifications for umbilicals (e.g., ISO 13628\-5, API 17E, among others) will be considered a differentiator; * Knowledge of metallic alloys and polymers applied to the Oil and Gas sector will be considered a differentiator. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and maintain specialized technical documentation, including technical reports, procedures and test methodologies, EMPs, technical notes, and scientific and technological presentations. * Critically analyze technical specifications, standards, and documentation from customers and regulatory bodies, assessing impacts on material selection, development, and application. * Develop and deliver technical presentations and internal training sessions, disseminating knowledge related to materials, test methodologies, experimental results, and best practices. * Provide technical support for failure and non-conformance analysis, investigating root causes related to material behavior, degradation, compatibility, and performance. * Conduct research, prospecting, and evaluation of new polymeric and metallic materials for application in SURF products, considering technical performance, reliability, cost, and regulatory requirements. * Provide technical support to the company in defining and selecting raw materials, serving as a technical reference for evaluating alternative materials for SURF products. * Conduct technical evaluations of materials and new products, supporting decisions regarding development, qualification, and industrial application. * Define test methodologies, procedures, and protocols for evaluating new materials, ensuring technical robustness, repeatability, and generation of reliable data. * Establish test scopes and experimental plans aligned with material and product development, qualification, and certification needs. * Perform data processing, statistical analyses, and critical evaluations of test results, formulating technical conclusions and recommendations for material or product improvement. * Research, evaluate, and develop new material suppliers (DTC or alternative raw materials), supporting innovation, sustainability, and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives. * Prepare and submit technical and scientific papers for participation in forums, conferences, and events within the Oil and Gas sector and related fields, contributing to the company's technological visibility. * Provide technical support for daily laboratory activities, ensuring correct use of methods, equipment, and best practices associated with materials development and characterization. * Plan and issue technical activity schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines, development milestones, and alignment with project objectives. * Lead and participate in internal and external technical meetings, interacting with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss topics related to materials, performance, and technological solutions. * Support and promote 6S, safety, quality, and environmental practices in the laboratory, ensuring compliance and integrity of experimental activities.
