Knowledge of Logistics and Transportation **JOB MISSION:** Ensure efficient, safe, and organized execution of the unit's logistics operations by leading the warehouse operational team and guaranteeing proper material receiving, storage, picking, loading, and shipping—as well as supporting transportation flow where applicable—in compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and company-defined targets, working directly in alignment with the Logistics Supervisor. **REQUIREMENTS**: * Occupational safety standards * Knowledge of Inventory and Stock Management. * Knowledge of Logistics and Transportation. * Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Mechanics/Maintenance (for fleet management). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel * Valid Driver's License Category D * Leadership * Planning * Assertive Communication * Analytical Ability **RESPONSIBILITIES**: * Directly lead and guide the operational logistics team (stock clerks, assistants, and helpers), ensuring correct execution of warehouse activities and adherence to established operational, safety, and productivity standards. * Directly lead and guide the operational logistics team (stock clerks, assistants, and helpers), ensuring correct execution of warehouse activities and adherence to established operational, safety, and productivity standards. * Serve as the technical reference for logistics operations within the warehouse, guiding the team on correct work methods, inventory organization, proper equipment usage, and prevention of operational errors. * Monitor operational team performance, holding members accountable for results, identifying gaps, training needs, and opportunities for improvement in warehouse processes. * Oversee order verification, picking, and shipping routines, ensuring inventory accuracy, bill-of-lading compliance, and alignment with billing and the daily logistics plan. * Supervise proper and safe use of material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and similar), ensuring operation only by certified personnel and in accordance with applicable NRs (Normas Regulamentadoras). * Oversee order verification, picking, and shipping routines, ensuring inventory accuracy, bill-of-lading compliance, and alignment with billing and the daily logistics plan. * Supervise proper and safe use of material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and similar), ensuring operation only by certified personnel and in accordance with applicable NRs (Normas Regulamentadoras). * Maintain updated operational records—including stock controls, movements, safety incidents, and area KPIs—to support information consolidation for management. * Operate forklifts when properly trained, authorized, and required by departmental needs, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and safety regulations. * Participate regularly in departmental and general meetings, contributing suggestions for sector/company improvements. * Safeguard company assets, ensuring their utility, control, and preservation. * Support management in generating, monitoring, and presenting KPIs relevant to the area. * Conduct analyses and propose process improvements within the scope of responsibility. * Provide technical and behavioral guidance to the work team within the area of responsibility—guiding processes, enforcing discipline, and pursuing continuous improvement.
