Job Summary:
Inspect welding activities in accordance with technical standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements, ensuring compliance and quality.
Key Highlights:
1. Perform industrial welding inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
2. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes (AWS, ASME, API, ISO)
3. Coordinate NDT execution and liaise among production, quality, and engineering
**Responsibilities**
* Inspect welding activities in accordance with technical standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements.
* Verify and validate WPS/PQR, WPQ/WPQR, and welder qualifications.
* Monitor and inspect welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, among others.
* Conduct visual welding inspections (VT) before, during, and after welding operations.
* Check materials, consumables, joint preparation, preheating, and heat treatments, where applicable.
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes (AWS, ASME, API, ISO, ABNT, among others).
* Monitor and coordinate the execution of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), such as PT, MT, UT, and RT, according to project scope.
* Identify, record, and address non-conformities, proposing and tracking corrective actions.
* Issue, validate, and control inspection reports, technical certificates, and quality records.
* Release welded joints for subsequent production process stages.
* Support internal, customer, and certification body audits.
* Guide welding teams on best practices, technical requirements, and applicable standards.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
* Serve as the interface between production, quality, engineering, and the customer, ensuring technical and documentation alignment.
**Requirements**
* Valid Level 2 Welding Inspector qualification
* Experience in industrial welding inspection
* Practical knowledge of welding and NDT processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and welding procedures
* Organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical professionalism
* Availability to work in an industrial environment
Employment Type: Full-time CLT
Compensation: R$3.500,00 - R$5.500,00 per month
