About the opportunity
We are seeking an organized, disciplined professional with a strong sense of operational responsibility to join the heavy fleet maintenance department of an established company in the hazardous cargo road transportation sector.
This position is strategic for ensuring fleet availability, cost control, and—above all—operational safety, serving as a fundamental liaison point among operations, workshops, and suppliers.
**Key responsibilities**
Control the opening, tracking, and closing of service orders (SOs);
Monitor the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance on the fleet (tractors and trailers);
Record and monitor maintenance requests, ensuring full traceability of information;
Interface with workshops, suppliers, and service providers, tracking deadlines and service quality;
Support scheduling of external maintenance;
Organize and maintain up-to-date technical documents and departmental reports;
Assist in controlling inventory of spare parts, consumables, and maintenance materials;
Populate maintenance management systems and operational control spreadsheets;
Monitor services performed by third parties, ensuring compliance with requirements;
Support maintenance KPI tracking (fleet availability, downtime, cost per km, etc.);
Contribute to compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements applicable to hazardous goods transportation.
**Mandatory requirements**
Completed high school education;
Prior experience in administrative or operational routines (preferably in maintenance or logistics);
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
Organized profile with ability to control and track processes;
**Preferred qualifications (non-eliminatory but valued)**
Experience in freight carriers or companies operating heavy fleets;
Basic knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance;
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., Sofit, Rodopar, or similar);
Experience managing maintenance KPIs;
Experience in operations involving hazardous goods;
Ongoing technical or undergraduate studies (Mechanics, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields).

**Working hours:**
* Monday to Friday: 08:00–17:30
* Saturdays: 08:00–12:00
Compensation: R$2.800,00 – R$3.500,00 per month
