EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Job Summary: Operates tracked or wheeled excavators, performs basic maintenance, interprets project plans, and collaborates with the field team. Key Highlights: 1. Operating excavators on various terrains and under different conditions. 2. Performing basic preventive maintenance and identifying failures. 3. Collaborating with the team and interpreting project plans. #### **Responsibilities** * Operate tracked or wheeled excavators to perform excavation, grading, truck loading, and material removal. * Conduct daily machine inspections, checking fluid levels, tire/tracked system pressure, hydraulic and electrical systems, and reporting any anomalies. * Perform basic preventive maintenance on the excavator, such as lubricating specific points and cleaning filters, in accordance with the manufacturer's manual. * Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to position the machine and execute tasks accurately and safely. * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations, using PPE and marking the operation area to prevent accidents. * Maneuver the excavator on uneven, sloped, and hard-to-access terrain, ensuring operational stability and safety. * Collaborate with the field team, receiving instructions and coordinating activities to optimize workflow. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) operating hydraulic excavators of various sizes and models. * Valid driver's license category D or E with EAR (Exercises Remunerated Activity). * Certified Excavator Operator course with recognized certification. * Solid knowledge of basic heavy machinery mechanics for failure identification and preventive maintenance. * Ability to interpret dashboard symbols and onboard excavator systems. * Experience operating in various soil types and adverse weather conditions. * Occupational Health Certificate (ASO) valid for this role. #### **Skills** * Excavator Operation (Tracked/Wheeled) * Basic Preventive Maintenance * Project Plan Reading * Workplace Safety (NR\-11, NR\-12\) * Maneuvering on Complex Terrain * Mechanical Failure Identification * Hydraulic System * Electrical System (Basic) * Load Management ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- Formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Commute Support, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
