Brivia_Group wants to leverage your talent to further strengthen our digital transformation ecosystem! **Required Technical Knowledge:** * Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances and databases (versions 2016 through 2025). * Develop, implement, and manage Backup and Recovery strategies (Full, Differential, Transaction Log, Point-in-time recovery). * Implement, manage, and troubleshoot High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions such as Always On Availability Groups and Transactional Replication. * Manage database security, including users, roles, permissions, and implement features such as Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Data Masking, and Row-Level Security. * Configure and manage SQL Server Auditing for security and compliance purposes (LGPD). * Perform query performance tuning and optimization by analyzing execution plans, using Query Store, and defining indexing strategies. * Manage and maintain indexes (Clustered, Non-Clustered, Columnstore) and statistics. * Use diagnostic tools such as SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. * Tune I/O, CPU, and Memory to optimize SQL Server performance. * Optimize TempDB configuration and usage. * Analyze and resolve concurrency issues such as Locking, Blocking, and Deadlocks. * Develop T-SQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and CTEs. * Create, manage, and optimize complex jobs in SQL Server Agent. * Administer cloud-based (Azure SQL Database, SQL Server on VMs – IaaS) and hybrid database environments. * Develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages for data migration and transformation (ETL). * Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) and Change Tracking. * Perform proactive database health monitoring and health checks. * Use and manage third-party monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, SQL Monitor). * Develop scripts to automate maintenance tasks and create alerts. * Configure, manage, and analyze SQL Server audit and activity monitoring logs. * Create and maintain detailed technical documentation about the database environment. **Desired Technical Knowledge:** * Proven experience in database administration, with specialization in SQL Server. * In-depth knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance (versions 2016, 2019, 2022). * Practical experience with Backup and Recovery strategies. * Advanced knowledge of SQL Server security. * Experience with compliance requirements (LGPD). * Mastery of Performance Tuning. * Experience with performance diagnostic tools: SQL Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs. * Knowledge of I/O, CPU, Memory tuning and TempDB optimization. * Experience troubleshooting Locking, Blocking, and Deadlocks. * Proficiency in T-SQL development. * Experience with cloud-based database environments. * Knowledge of Data Warehousing and integration with BI tools. * Intermediate English proficiency for conversation. **Additional Information:** * Contract type: PJ (valid CNPJ required). * Own equipment. * Location: São Paulo/SP. * Work model: Hybrid for residents of SP (2 days per week in the office) | Remote for professionals outside SP. * Initial project duration: 12 months, with high possibility of extension. * Immediate start.
