Job Summary: Árbore Engenharia seeks a Data Engineer to optimize data architecture, develop Lakehouses, and build performant dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Key Highlights: 1. Our values define who we are and how far we’ve come: **Relationships** that unite; **Respect** that strengthens; **Best Practices** that deliver results; **Tenacity** that inspires; **Attitudes** that transform; **An Amazing Team**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Analyze **datasets, semantic models, and dashboards (Power BI/Fabric)** to identify performance bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in modeling, DAX, relationships, cardinality, and aggregations. * Diagnose and resolve performance issues in analytical reports and models, proposing optimizations in **DAX, report layout, interactions, dimensional modeling (star schema), and data structure**. * Define and implement **Direct Lake** usage strategies, evaluating applicable scenarios and ensuring efficient data consumption. * Serve as a reference point for the **evolution of analytical architecture in Microsoft Fabric**, ensuring alignment with the corporate **Lakehouse/Datalake** and avoiding data redundancies. * Develop and evolve **Lakehouses in Fabric**, structuring data in the Gold layer and performing integrations and loads from corporate sources. * Create and maintain **data ingestion and transformation notebooks (e.g., PySpark)**, ensuring data quality, traceability, and process efficiency. * Build and maintain **Semantic Models in Fabric**, including table definitions, relationships, DAX metrics, hierarchies, perspectives, and governance and security best practices. * Develop **Power BI dashboards integrated with Fabric**, emphasizing usability, visual consistency, and high performance. * Support the implementation and dissemination of **data, modeling, and analytical visualization standards and best practices**. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** * Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent; Administration; Information Technology; * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Data Analytics, Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or equivalent is desirable. **Experience and Technical Skills** * Knowledge and experience in performance optimization (models and reports), including root-cause analysis and sustainable solution design. * Understanding of data architecture and modeling principles (dimensional modeling, star schema, granularity, relationships, cardinality). * Ability to work consultatively: translate problems into hypotheses, test, measure, and clearly recommend improvements. * Intermediate/advanced SQL (joins, subqueries, views, procedures) * Experience with process automation and API-based integration * ETL knowledge: understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and hands-on experience building data pipelines. * Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python **Additional Information** Benefits that value you! **Meal Voucher or Food Allowance:** BRL 31.80/day (your choice). **Breakfast:** Provided daily at the office. **Amil Health Insurance:** Entry-level plan fully covered (no co-payment). **Amil Dental Insurance:** Comprehensive oral health care. **Online Health:** Psychologist and nutritionist support via Conexa App. **Wiz Concierge:** Full support for scheduling exams and appointments. **Mobility:** Transportation Benefit or Fuel Allowance. **Birthday Day Off:** One paid day off during your birthday month. **Life Insurance:** Security and peace of mind for you and your family. **TotalPass:** Access to gyms and studios across Brazil. **Work Schedule and Location:** Mon–Thu: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Fri: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
