We are a young company seeking committed professionals with leadership potential, engagement, career focus, and a drive for results. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your typical day:** The COG Operator will be responsible for the remote monitoring and control of hydroelectric and solar power plants, ensuring safe and efficient operation of assets. You will directly supervise power generation, execute operational switching maneuvers, and respond to real-time events, guaranteeing system availability and reliability. * Monitor power generation and electrical systems of power plants in real time via SCADA platforms and other supervisory systems; * Perform remote operational switching maneuvers in accordance with technical procedures and safety standards; * Identify operational deviations and mitigate failures, coordinating interventions with field maintenance teams; * Respond promptly to alarms, events, and operational incidents, documenting all actions taken; * Ensure accurate execution of operational dispatch instructions, complying with requirements set by the National Electric System Operator (ONS) and other regulatory bodies; * Support maintenance scheduling and coordinate planned plant shutdowns; * Prepare operational reports and record incidents for subsequent analysis; * Adhere to operational safety procedures and safeguard asset integrity and the power grid. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we seek in you:** * Technical education in Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields; * Prior experience operating hydroelectric or solar power plants, or generation and transmission control centers; * Knowledge of SCADA systems, telecommunications, and remote asset monitoring; * Ability to analyze situations and make rapid decisions during operational events; * Familiarity with electric sector regulations and standards (e.g., ONS, ANEEL, electrical safety standards); * Availability to work rotating shifts (12x36 schedule). **Desirable Experience:** * Administrative experience in construction projects or operational units of energy plants (solar, hydro, or wind); * Basic knowledge of industrial or electrical maintenance; * Experience with administrative routines in industrial or maintenance settings. **Additional Information** **What we offer:** * Meal and/or food allowance * Health insurance plan * Dental insurance plan * Transportation allowance * Parking * Annual bonus * Life insurance * Birthday day off * Total Pass * Corporate University * Partnerships with educational institutions * Subsidized psychological support through our partner company * Electricity bill discount * A stimulating environment full of growth opportunities and challenges Terral Energia operates in the electric power sector, specializing in renewable energy generation from water and wind sources.
