




Perform services related to repair, pre-assembly, preparation, assembly, and disassembly of metallic parts and equipment, as well as other materials. Operate boilersmithing machines, equipment, and tools, as well as finishing and measuring instruments. * Wash, clean, saw, repair, assemble, and organize machines, parts, and equipment in general under the supervision of a Senior Boilermaker or Immediate Supervisor; * Prepare raw materials and general supplies for repairing or assembling machine bases, parts, and equipment in general; * Assist in marking (layout), locating centers of holes, center-punching, and bending metal bars and other materials, to guide cutting, bending, welding, and/or machining operations; * Measure, cut, shape, assemble, repair, finish, and work on metal bars and other materials, subject to approval by the Senior Boilermaker or Immediate Supervisor; * Handle measuring instruments such as squares, calipers, micrometers, and protractors; * Handle finishing tools such as torches, files, sanders, and hammers; * Request departmental supplies and tools (requisitions); * Perform general welding tasks (if technically qualified); * Maintain an organized and clean workplace; * Support the training, activities, and daily routine of Junior Boilermakers; * Assist Senior Boilermakers in their tasks; * Carry out duties compatible with one’s physical health condition and physical integrity, related to the assigned department; * Observe and comply with all company internal regulations and job-specific work instructions, especially those concerning occupational safety.
