Focus on safety and metrology An engineering, environmental, and geotechnical consulting firm seeks a Surveying Assistant in Itabirito (Centro). ERG Engenharia is a company specialized in engineering solutions and technical consulting. With a focus on innovation and quality, it provides services across various industrial sectors. **Responsibilities:** Install tripod with total station. Support the surveyor's work by performing field procedures—including their specific characteristics and details—during surveys, topographic surveys, and stakeouts, using codes such as FOOT, CREST, and many others essential and specific to surveying. Use specialized terminology including axis, alignment, level, section, alignment, backsight, foresight, station, etc. Operate and handle equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and other tools including rods, prisms, machetes, billhooks, files, ranging poles, rulers, scales, levels, tape measures, umbrellas, sledgehammers, push rods, and accessories such as stakes and pegs. Practice genuine, proactive safety awareness. Apply knowledge of metrology. Perform tasks relevant to standard Surveying Assistant duties. Previous experience as a Geoprocessing Assistant, Cartography Assistant, Topographic Survey Assistant, or Civil Engineering Assistant may indicate suitability for some activities associated with this position. High school diploma required.
