They must be capable of operating across all application layers—from data handling to user interface construction. **Your responsibilities will include** -------------------------------------- The Senior FullStack Developer is a technical leader in development, playing a crucial role in project success and demonstrating a strong sense of ownership. Responsibilities include: * End-to-End Development: Designing and maintaining the complete solution architecture—from database to user interface—using technologies such as FastStore and VTEX IO. * Front\-end Development: Building interactive and optimized components and pages, focusing on usability and performance. * Back\-end Development: Implementing business logic, APIs, and integrations, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency of solutions. * API and GraphQL Integration: Developing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect front\-end and back\-end, and integrate with other systems. * Optimization and Performance: Identifying and implementing performance improvements in applications, optimizing load time and user experience. * Quality Assurance: Implementing testing practices and code quality standards, ensuring delivery of a stable product free of errors or vulnerabilities. * Scalability and Reusability: Planning and implementing solutions aligned with the company’s scalability and reusability strategy, creating components adaptable to different scenarios and VTEX stores. * Resolution of Complex Problems: Addressing critical and technically complex issues, supporting the team and delivering efficient solutions. * Technical Mentoring: Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers, providing technical support and constructive feedback. * Effective Communication: Establishing clear and efficient communication with the team, stakeholders, and clients. * Strategic Vision: Understanding the business context and value drivers for the product. Monitoring performance metrics and goals to achieve objectives. **Minimum requirements** ------------------------ * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in technology. * Solid and proven experience as a Senior FullStack Developer. * Proven experience developing on the VTEX platform and its products, including VTEX IO and FastStore. * Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+), Node.js, and frameworks such as React.js and Next.js. * Proven experience developing APIs (RESTful and GraphQL). * Knowledge of version control systems (Git). * Experience integrating systems and e\-commerce solutions. * Leadership and effective communication skills. * Ability to solve complex problems and work collaboratively in teams. **Preferred skills and experiences** ------------------------------------ * Proven commercial experience with VTEX e\-commerce, including FastStore and VTEX IO. * Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL). * Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). * Ability to effectively prioritize based on value-driven delivery principles. * Experience using JIRA and Confluence. * Analytical thinking and critical judgment for decision-making. * Team spirit and strong communication ability. * Strong organizational skills. * Ability to act as a mentor and influence outcomes through others. * Relevant case studies and Black Friday experience are advantages.
