**Job Description:**
**Main Responsibilities:**
Support the execution of field trials (sowing, crop management, evaluation, and harvesting);
Assist in collecting and analyzing agronomic data, ensuring accuracy and quality of information;
Support the organization of technological showcases, training sessions, and technical events;
Contribute to preparing reports, presentations, and technical materials;
Ensure operational safety and compliance according to Cogny’s policies;
**Job Duties:**
**1\.0 Installation and Management of Agronomy Protocols:**
Plan, install, and manage field experiments.
Prepare and organize inputs, equipment, and materials required for trial execution.
Ensure adherence to experimental protocols, maintaining standardization and traceability.
**2\.0 Data Collection and Recording:**
Perform measurements and phenological, phytosanitary, and productivity assessments.
Collect soil, plant, or other samples as specified by protocols.
Record and organize data in spreadsheets or designated systems.
**3\.0 Information Generation and Support for Result Analysis:**
Assist in tabulating and performing preliminary interpretation of collected data.
Contribute to preparing technical reports and result presentations.
Support the Field Agronomist in analyzing and discussing experiments.
**4\.0 Technical and Commercial Activities under Agronomy Protocols:**
Notify the Field Agronomist regarding well-managed areas suitable for implementing activities.
Utilize and prepare installed areas for company training of commercial teams (RCs), distribution channels, and field days, equipping participants with practical and technical knowledge about the product portfolio.
**5\.0 Communication and Interface with Teams:**
Be available to provide operational support in executing regional activities or events, as required by the company.
Interact with farmers, partners, and research institutions when necessary.
Participate in training sessions, technical meetings, and events related to relevant topics.
**Requirements:**
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering / Agronomy;
Minimum two (2) years of experience in conducting agronomic field trials.
Proficiency in Excel (mandatory), PowerPoint (mandatory), and data collection software (preferred).
Technical knowledge of production systems for corn, soybean, sorghum, sugarcane, forage grasses (HF), cotton, etc. (crop depends on region of operation).
Proactive profile with strong communication skills, organizational ability, flexibility, and persistence. A professional who not only responds to demands but also anticipates them, seeks solutions, and adapts to diverse situations.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel.
Driver’s License – Category B.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in analyzing agronomic trial data is a plus.
Experience in biological control is a plus.
Postgraduate degree is a plus.
Basic English proficiency is a plus.
