Our mission spans from developing intuitive applications empowering drivers and robust systems ensuring fulfillment warehouse efficiency, to route optimization engines and agile digital solutions built to address daily operational challenges. **What You'll Do** You will serve as the architectural and orchestration anchor for the team. You do not shy away from complex problems and uphold an unwavering commitment to end-to-end structural problem resolution. You will: * Translate complex business rules into clear, complete, and executable specifications (SDD); * Design scalable and resilient technical solutions for billing, defining technical and functional guardrails to ensure agent-generated code meets rigorous security and compliance standards; * Create and evolve automated validation harnesses to verify system behavior and quality criteria prior to production deployment; * Orchestrate AI-assisted development workflows and multi-agent pipelines within our tech stack to deliver new features; * Act as the technical owner, continuously reviewing and evaluating the quality of deliverables produced by the agent ecosystem; * Conduct advanced production troubleshooting using AI to accelerate diagnostics and build queries and dashboards for business monitoring; * Evolve reusable engineering frameworks and templates to scale squad productivity and support colleagues in adopting this new culture. **What We Expect From You** **Engineering Thinking & Ownership:** * Strong ability to decompose complex (fiscal/logistical) problems and excellent systems modeling. Architectural vision, abstraction capability, and systemic reasoning. A hands-on, approachable, and engaged profile. * **Availability and Collaboration:** Be approachable, able to teach and support less experienced developers and the Product team. **Software Development (Our Stack):** * Solid experience building **distributed architectures and microservices**, handling multiple API, event, and messaging integrations. * Ability to navigate, orchestrate agents, and conduct code reviews across our technical stack: **ReactJs** (Frontend), **Node.js, NextJS, PHP** (with frameworks **Laravel and Hyperf**) on the Backend. * Proficiency in relational data modeling (**MySQL**) and NoSQL (**Mongo**). * Experience with cloud infrastructure (**AWS and Google Cloud**), orchestration, and CI/CD (**GitLab and Argo CD**). **Quality and Reliability:** * Strong quality culture: TDD, Contract Testing, integration testing, regression testing, post-go-live observability, and building validation harnesses. **AI Applied to Engineering:** * Experience or deep interest in using orchestrators and agents such as **GitHub Copilot**. * Advanced knowledge of **Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Agentic Workflows**. **Nice-to-Haves (What Will Make You Shine)** * **Exceptional PHP Proficiency:** As PHP is foundational to our current ecosystem, mastery of high-performance PHP (Hyperf/Laravel) is a significant advantage. * Prior proven, hands-on experience with **Specification-Driven Development (SDD)**, building specialized agents, and Model Context Protocol (**MCPs**). * AI-Native Engineering and evaluation of LLMs in multi-agent systems. * Technical experience developing ERPs, billing systems, electronic invoice messaging systems, or large-scale e-commerce pipelines. **How We Measure Your Success** Less by the volume of code you write and far more by your ability to: * Create high-quality specifications (specs); * Build robust guardrails and highly reliable test harnesses; * Increase AI agent autonomy within development pipelines; * Reduce rework and drastically improve delivery speed and quality; * Scale Magalu’s billing engineering through automation. **The Mindset We Seek** **We are not looking for people to write more code.** We seek developers capable of designing systems, specifications, and validation mechanisms enabling AI agents to produce software with quality, security, and scale for Brazil’s largest logistics operation.
