




Description: * Complete High School; * Completed Nursing Technician Course; * Active COREN; * Computer Skills - Office Suite. * Perform nursing procedures and care for critical patients at the institution, undergoing clinical or surgical treatment; * Implement preventive measures for identified risks based on institutional protocols; * Make appropriate annotations regarding patients under their responsibility to ensure safety and continuity of treatment; * Participate in the surgical process, including verifying the surgery schedule, checking the operating room, inspecting surgery kits, receiving and guiding the patient to the operating table, preoperative precautions, setting up the operating table, assisting during surgery, transferring the patient to the post-anesthesia recovery room, and preparing the operating room for the next procedure; * Organize anesthesia procedures in operating rooms, including arranging necessary materials, anesthetic medications, and equipment, transferring the patient from the stretcher to the operating table, assisting during anesthesia administration, as well as participating in anesthesia procedures for patients undergoing cardiac surgery, which requires specific care, time, equipment, tools, and medications; * Provide individualized care for critical patients hospitalized in ICUs or clinical units; * Collect and/or forward exams requested by physicians; * Verify medical and nursing prescriptions, signing and stamping them; * Assist in medical procedures such as chest drainage, bronchoscopy, endoscopies, colonoscopies, intracath insertion, etc., gathering specific materials for these procedures to stabilize hemodynamic parameters; * Instruct visitors during visiting hours on hand hygiene and its importance in preventing infections in patients under their care; * Monitor material and medication expenses, including expiration dates, to prevent waste; * Assist nurses and/or physicians in performing invasive procedures, providing necessary materials; * Work in critical areas, providing care for severely ill patients using invasive devices; * Check and replenish ICU bed station supplies such as gauze, catheters, suction equipment, sterile gloves, ambu bags, etc.; * Inspect trays prepared for emergency procedures, dating them and replacing missing items; * Check the emergency cart daily and test the defibrillator; * Perform other duties as needed or directed by the unit nurse; * Admit patients to the unit together with the nurse, receive admission forms and medical records, guide the patient to the bed, identify the patient, and verify their medication bin; * Participate in bedside shift handover, communicating important information to colleagues and the entire nursing team; * Participate in nursing care planning; * Actively engage in the risk management program, preventing errors and harm to patients under their care; in case of incidents, report to the responsible nurse, provide care to minimize risks, and document in the prescription; * Carry out all nursing actions, except those exclusive to registered nurses, according to the nursing division's general procedures manual; * Participate in patient discharge planning, providing guidance on care and devices to patients and companions together with the nurse, if necessary; * Verify optimal conditions for patient transfer during preoperative surgical preparation; promptly respond to verbal requests or call bell signals from hospitalized patients; * Administer medications safely, preventing patient harm; be familiar with High-Alert Medications; * Ensure and maintain unit cleanliness, reporting any non-conformities to the hygiene service; * Ensure and maintain the condition of unit equipment and materials, reporting needs to the equipment center and removing unused items; * Keep patient records and documents organized; * Inform the nurse about repairs, maintenance, and missing equipment in the unit; * Participate in defining the daily request for individual patient supplies. 25102302022060712
