These behaviors enable growth, innovation, collaboration, and help us become a Modern Mining Company. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support activities related to the structural safety of OZ Minerals’ dam. * Identify improvement opportunities within the company, prioritize them, and develop the necessary feasibility engineering. * Plan short-term reservoir project development. * Support the management of risks associated with tailings reservoirs. * Monitor and provide technical support for earthworks and tailings/water pipeline construction activities. * Provide field-based technical support to the operation of geotechnical structures at OZ Minerals. * Assist with field-based implementation of OZ Minerals’ Water Management Plan. * Fulfill the responsibilities of Coordinator for the Mining Dam Emergency Action Plan (PAEBM), as stipulated by current regulations. * **Know, uphold, and commit to OZ Minerals’ practices and policies regarding prevention of environmental impacts, occupational injuries, and illnesses.** **Requirements and Qualifications** Mandatory: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering * Advanced English proficiency Desirable: * Postgraduate degree/MBA/Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering. * Experience in geotechnical projects; * Experience in tailings dam operations; **Additional Information** Willingness to reside in Parauapebas – PA ***A Modern Mining Company*** **Working together to create value** One of our greatest assets is our people, and our values differentiate us and sustain a unique culture—one we enjoy today and will continue to enjoy in the future. **How we work together:** * Acting with integrity toward all stakeholders. * Thinking and acting differently. * Building a culture of respect that enables our people to succeed. * Focusing on partnership and collaboration—not hierarchy. * Delivering superior results through effective planning and agile execution. * Doing what we commit to—and executing.
