A Cost Engineer professional is required to prepare civil construction and building installation budgets, perform quantitative takeoffs, and analyze projects.

An engineering and construction management company in Carapicuíba seeks a Cost Engineer.
**Responsibilities:**
Prepare civil construction and building installation budgets. Perform quantitative takeoffs based on project drawings, descriptive memoranda, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary discipline projects. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, considering BDI (Burden, Profit, and Indirect Costs), social charges, and labor laws. Obtain quotations from suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery schedules and commercial terms. Balance technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical proposals, and commercial proposals. Maintain an updated price database aligned with market practices and values.
Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position.
Bachelor's degree required. Relevant experience necessary.
