Our purpose is “Fueling life in motion.” ***Learn more about us:*** https://portal.ipiranga/wps/portal/ipiranga/a\-ipiranga/institucional/carreiras/ ***Read our ESG report:*** https://portal.ipiranga/wps/portal/ipiranga/a\-ipiranga/institucional/sustentabilidade **What do we expect from you?** * Customer focus is our priority, and integrity is our competitive advantage \#TheCustomerIsOurReason * Difficult conversations strengthen our relationships \#YourVoiceMatters * Autonomy, accountability, and constructive dissent are essential \#LeaveItToMe * Processes and discipline transform our results \#EfficiencyChangesTheGame * We are secure, plural, collaborative, and light-hearted \#WeAreIpiranga **Responsibilities and Assignments** **Mission:** Plan, monitor, and analyze the company’s economic-financial performance, ensuring accounting and regulatory compliance, process efficiency, result accuracy, and analytical support to business areas for value generation. **Activities:** * Review and validate financial statements prepared by the CSC (Income Statement/Cash Flow Statement/Balance Sheet/Eliminations); * Lead the monthly accounting closing process, ensuring balance accuracy and adherence to deadlines; * Provide support and engage in technical discussions with external and internal audit (SOX); * Develop accounting policies, procedures, and memoranda; * Perform and review complex accounting entries (provisions, reclassifications, adjustments, reconciliations); * Analyze financial result variances (hedging, financial operations, options, etc.); * Lead analyses and corrections related to bonus, financing, and leasing processes; * Ensure compliance with accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and internal policies; * Support internal clients on questions regarding accounting processes and standards; * Promote continuous process improvement; * Provide technical guidance to the team on daily accounting routines; * Monitor and act on action plans related to intercompany balance reconciliations. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * **Experience**: Knowledge in controller functions, technical knowledge of balance sheets and income statements, experience in Big Four firms (preferred); * **Soft Skills**: Analytical mindset, critical thinking, technical leadership capability, organization, deadline orientation, and continuous improvement mindset; * **Technical Skills**: Financial statements: Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet, Eliminations; SOX knowledge; * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; postgraduate studies in controller-related fields preferred; * **Languages**: English proficiency preferred **Additional Information** **What do we offer you?** ----------------------------- Flexible working hours Childcare allowance for children with disabilities Variable Compensation Program Private Pension Plan Length-of-service bonus Online Therapy \& Nutritional Counseling Birth Gift Basket Corporate University Market-standard benefits: Gympass, Meal/Voucher Allowance, Transportation Voucher, Health and Dental Plans, Life Insurance.
