Backend Developer - Ruby on Rails

What you will do daily: * Develop and evolve backend APIs and services in **Ruby on Rails**, focusing on quality, performance, observability, and scalability. * Ensure stability and code coverage through **test automation**, applying **TDD** and modern QA frameworks. * Participate in technical refinement sessions with Product, Design, and QA teams, translating retail requirements into structured technical solutions. * Perform agile *troubleshooting* and log analysis to ensure application health in production. * Participate in agile ceremonies (Dailys, Weeklys, Retros, TRM, **Three Amigos**). * Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and quality. * Propose continuous improvements to architecture and development processes. Mandatory technical requirements: * **Ruby on Rails (advanced level)** * **PostgreSQL (advanced level)** * Solid and proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer * Proficiency in **TDD**, Git, and CI/CD * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes * Concepts and hands-on practice in Observability, log analysis, and *troubleshooting* * Technical English (reading and listening) Nice-to-have qualifications: * Experience with Solid Queue and caching strategies * Integration with FCM * Applied knowledge of AI * Experience with APM Behavioral profile we seek: * Analytical thinking and surgical attention to detail * Organization, proactivity, and focus on continuous improvement * Assertive communication and collaboration (teamwork) * End\-to\-end planning and prudence in assessing technical risks Compensation: R$15\.000,00 \- R$18\.000,00 per month Work location: Remote
