**About the Role:**
Alcoa is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join its **São Luís/MA** unit. As a **Mechanic (m/f)**, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on components, equipment, and industrial machinery. Additionally, you will plan maintenance activities, assess operational and performance conditions of machine and equipment components, lubricate machines, components, and tools. You will also document technical information, carry out quality and environmental preservation actions, and work in accordance with safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
* Basic knowledge of machine elements, lubricants, lubrication systems, welding and cutting;
* Correctly follow the approved Safety policies, standards, and procedures at Alumar and actively participate in the Safety program, such as audits, inspections, meetings, etc.;
* Select materials, tools, and measuring, welding, and control instruments required to perform tasks;
* Read, interpret, and identify parts and drawings from equipment catalogs, and read and interpret hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, performing repairs on parts and/or components;
* Perform mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment, and installations—including hydraulic and pneumatic components—repairing or replacing parts, making adjustments, calibrations, and lubrication;
* Use tools and work areas correctly and maintain them in good condition, clean and safe;
* And other related activities.
**What You Can Bring to This Role:**
* Completed High School education and Technical Degree in Mechanics—with active CFT certification;
* Experience in this role;
* Knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance on industrial mechanical equipment;
* Microsoft Office suite;
* **Residence in São Luís/MA.**
