Quality Technician
Profile:
Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings (including GD\&T).
* Advanced knowledge of metrology, including the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, gauges, and other applicable devices.
* Competence in performing critical analysis of documents based on reference specifications, including raw material certificates, dimensional reports, heat treatment certificates, test and functional testing reports, among others.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word, for spreadsheet completion, report preparation, and network file access, where applicable.
* Experience in quality control and dimensional inspection of machined components, including evaluation of geometric characteristics related to form and position.
* Desired (not mandatory) experience in inspecting components intended for turbomachinery.
* Knowledge of SAP ERP \- Quality Environment (Desirable but not mandatory, only for professionals performing inspections).
Responsibilities:
* Dimensional and documentary inspection of bars and sheets (raw materials in general).
* Dimensional and documentary inspection of tubes, forged fittings (e.g., flanges and elbows), ring-type joints (single or double), and metal-to-metal sealing fittings.
* Dimensional inspection of O-rings, gaskets, packings, and other sealing elements.
* Inspection according to supply specifications, verifying, for example:
* identification;
* physical integrity;
* basic construction features;
* main dimensions;
* surface finish;
* documentary compliance.
* Verification of identification and physical integrity.
* Inspection of items such as fasteners, springs, and other standardized components.
* Issuance of inspection/technical visit reports containing:
* identification of inspected items;
* results obtained (e.g., approved, rejected);
* photographic records.
* Material release via SAP ERP.
Compensation: R$2\.600,00 \- R$3\.000,00 per month
