You will work in a growing accounting office with a supportive team and real-world learning opportunities. Here, you will interact with various clients and industries, gaining comprehensive insight into the accounting field.
* Classify and enter accounting documents (invoices, bank statements, payroll records).
* Perform bank, customer, and supplier account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Assist in correctly allocating revenues and expenses according to the company's chart of accounts.
* Ensure accuracy of debit and credit entries in the accounting system.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly trial balances to verify account balances.
* Prepare supporting spreadsheets for accounting closing, such as depreciation and amortization schedules.
* Identify significant variances in income statement accounts and report them to the responsible analyst.
* Collaborate in gathering data for the preparation of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement (DRE).
* Organize physical and digital archives containing all documentation supporting accounting activities.
* Verify compliance of client-submitted documents prior to accounting entry.
* Assist in responding to requests related to simple audits or inspections.
Requirements: **Mandatory Requirements:**
* Currently enrolled in an Accounting Sciences degree program, from the 6th semester onward.
* Prior experience in an accounting office.
* Basic knowledge of accounting entries, reconciliations, and fundamental tax routines.
* Intermediate Excel proficiency and strong time-management skills.
* Availability for 100% in-person work.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Domínio, Prosoft, Alterdata, or similar).
* Experience working with companies under Simples Nacional, Lucro Presumido, and/or Lucro Real tax regimes.
* Participation in courses, workshops, or certifications in accounting or tax-related fields.
* Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and commitment to professional growth in accounting.
