**Responsibility:** Support and execute operational activities related to import processes, ensuring compliance with customs legislation, deadlines, costs, and the company's internal procedures.
**Detailed Job Description**
* Monitor import processes from purchase order placement through final goods delivery.
* Request quotations and analyze freight tariffs with freight forwarders;
* Control and process payments – courier, freight forwarder;
* Verify and organize import documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, DI, LI, certificates, among others).
* Communicate with international suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
* Monitor customs clearance together with the customs broker.
* Track shipping, arrival, and warehousing deadlines.
* Update internal spreadsheets and systems with process information.
* Verify import costs (freight, insurance, port fees, taxes).
* Support merchandise fiscal classification (NCM).
* Ensure compliance with foreign exchange and regulatory norms.
* Provide support to Finance, Tax, and Logistics departments.
**Technical Competencies**
* Knowledge of import processes and international trade.
* Understanding of customs and tax legislation.
* Knowledge of international trade documentation.
* Familiarity with Incoterms.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially intermediate Excel).
* Understanding of foreign exchange and import cost formation.
* Intermediate English (reading and writing for communication with suppliers).
* Experience with ERP systems or specialized international trade systems is a plus.

**Prerequisites**
* Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
* Prior experience in import or international trade (minimum of 1 year preferred).
* Intermediate Excel proficiency.
* Intermediate English – minimum.
