Integrated OHS management in port and logistics operations. 2. Leadership in accident and occupational disease prevention. 3. Continuous promotion of Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental (SHQE) culture. Ensure OHS management across Portocel’s port and logistics operations, preventing accidents and occupational diseases through legal programs, risk analysis, inspections, training, incident investigation, and continuous improvement—acting integrally between the Aracruz headquarters and Santos branch (t32\) to ensure regulatory compliance, safe operational performance, and SHQE culture. * Periodically plan the annual SHQE (OHS) plan, defining goals, priorities, and resources based on indicators, audits, and risk criticality, to guide preventive actions between Aracruz and Santos (t32\). * Continuously manage OHS programs and legal requirements (e.g., PGR/GRO, risk inventories, control actions), interpreting regulations, reviewing documents, and advising managers, to ensure compliance and mitigation of critical risks across operational and administrative areas. * Routinely conduct field safety inspections and audits (terminals, yards, warehouses, administrative areas, and work fronts), applying checklists, behavioral observations, and barrier verifications, to identify deviations and eliminate unsafe conditions. * Systematically conduct activity risk analyses (APR/JSA/HAZID, where applicable), mapping hazards, assessing severity/probability, and defining controls, to reduce exposure and support safe operational decisions. * Immediately investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, collecting evidence, interviewing involved parties, and applying root cause methodology, to prevent recurrence and strengthen organizational learning. * Frequently develop safety culture campaigns and initiatives (DDS, safety dialogues, visual communication, thematic campaigns), engaging leadership and operational teams, to elevate risk perception and operational discipline. * Regularly train internal and third-party employees on critical requirements (applicable NRs, procedures, work permits, lockout/tagout, working at heights, confined space entry, cargo handling), delivering or coordinating training sessions and evaluating effectiveness, to ensure competence and reduce human error. * Monitor monthly OHS indicators (accident rates, severity, critical deviations, inspection/training adherence, overdue actions), consolidating data and proposing action plans, to sustain governance and continuous performance improvement. * Daily verify compliance of PPEs/collective protective equipment (CPEs) and safety requirements for activities and work fronts, validating specifications, guiding usage, and auditing adherence, to ensure effective protection and compliance with internal and legal standards. (Typical auxiliary TST responsibility incorporated) * Provide ad-hoc support to contractor/third-party OHS management, reviewing documentation, conducting onboarding, verifying permits, and monitoring critical work fronts, to reduce execution risks and ensure Portocel standards. (Typical auxiliary TST responsibility incorporated) * Occasionally prepare technical opinions and safety recommendations for operational changes, new equipment, and construction projects, participating in MOC/change management analyses, to ensure risks are addressed prior to implementation. * Weekly update and manage the OHS action plan (corrective/preventive), prioritizing criticality, holding responsible parties accountable, and removing impediments, to maintain deadlines, reduce exposure, and sustain compliance. * Proactively collaborate with operational leadership in decision-making during critical-risk situations, halting activities when necessary and reestablishing safe conditions, to protect people, assets, and operational continuity. * Continuously support occupational health routines and interface with occupational medicine (where applicable), evaluating data, job-specific risks, and preventive actions, to reduce occupational illnesses and strengthen management of occupational risk factors.
