Responsible for performing welds on metal parts and structures according to technical specifications, drawings, and safety standards, ensuring the quality and strength of metal joints. Main Responsibilities: * Prepare and align metal parts and surfaces for welding. * Select the appropriate welding type and material according to the project requirements. * Operate MIG, TIG, or manual arc welding machines and equipment. * Conduct visual inspection of weld beads to ensure quality and compliance, and perform measurements on completed welds. * Carry out minor repairs and rework as needed. * Comply with safety regulations and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Maintain a clean and organized workplace. * Complete production and quality control reports. * Proficiency in MIG/MAG, TIG, and shielded metal arc welding processes. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. * Adjustment of welding parameters according to material type and thickness. * Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum. * Operation of cutting and finishing equipment (torch, sander, grinder). * Application of technical standards and quality criteria. * Knowledge of occupational safety and proper use of PPE.
