Progress starts with you. **Job Description** What You Will Do * Design, develop, and maintain backend services primarily in Java / Groovy, deployed on AWS, supporting financial accounting and post\-transaction processing. * Build and evolve systems responsible for ledger entries, balances, reconciliation, adjustments, and financial events. * Lead technical decisions within the squad, balancing data correctness, scalability, performance, observability, and technical debt. * Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, and Accounting stakeholders to translate accounting requirements into robust technical solutions. * Execute and maintain Terraform configurations to provision and manage AWS infrastructure. * Ensure strong monitoring, logging, and metrics to guarantee financial data reliability and traceability. * Participate actively in technical analysis, solution design, and impact assessment of accounting flows. * Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and constructive feedback. * Contribute to architectural discussions at squad and collective levels, influencing standards and best practices. * Deliver high\-quality, well\-tested solutions that meet strict correctness and auditability requirements. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties to be performed within proximity of a Visa office location.
