This is a mission-critical system with well-defined business rules and strong integration with databases and other systems. The team currently requires close engagement with code—combining corrective and evolutionary maintenance with feature development in an environment with an active backlog. Technical consistency and adaptability are essential to sustain deliveries and continuously evolve the product. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and evolve solutions for major industries and retailers; * Perform analysis and implementation of corrective and evolutionary maintenance; * Contribute to continuous improvements and product evolution; * Participate in developing new modules and features; * Support application maintenance, ensuring stability and delivery quality; * Participate in code reviews and disseminate best practices across the team; * Support client migration to new product versions. **Requirements and qualifications** We seek a candidate with hands-on full-stack development experience focused on Java technologies, directly working on structured systems with established business rules: * Solid experience with Java 8 and full-stack Java development; * Experience with JavaServer Pages (JSP); * Experience with JSF (JavaServer Faces) and PrimeFaces; * Experience with Java EE 8; * Experience with Apache Maven and version control using Git; * Experience with relational databases (primarily PostgreSQL and SQL Server); * Ability to write complex queries (JOINs, subqueries, aggregate functions, and reporting); * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban); * Experience with unit testing; * Experience with Docker; * Basic knowledge of JBoss / WildFly.
